printer problems

I just installed a new printer cartridge and my printer is now printing
repeating text on top of itself. If that makes any sense. It comes out really
fuzzy. Can anyone help.

Assuming it is the correct cartridge for your printer, and the previous
cartridge was working fine with this printer and computer, one possibility
is that the cartridge is not fixed in the printer properly. Try removing the
cartridge and fixing it back in the printer. If you have the user guide for
the printer it will explain cartridge replacement and possibly alignment,
and there will probably be a troubleshooting guide. If that doesn't fix the
problem I would consider whether the new cartridge is faulty or whether the
printer, printer cable or computer has developed a fault. Have you tried a
test print in control panel/printer properties?
