Hello,
A few weeks ago, my printer (Lexmark) stopped every service behind repair.
I did an Uninstall of the printer drivers, and removed all the entries in
"Program Files" of this printer manually.
Last week I baught a brandnew "All-in-one printer" type "EPSON Stylus
CX4100".
I tried to install this printer according to the manufacturer (USB), but
Windows returned a message:
"Found New Hardware Wizard"
"Cannot Install this Hardware"
"There was a problem installing this hardware: EPSON Stylus CX4100 Series"
"An error occured during the installation of the device"
"The required section was not found in the INF."
"Click Finish to close the wizard"
I tried to install this printer on my neighbor's computer, and this was done
without problems.
So, the problem must be in the Windows (INF Section).
I'm running Windows XP Pro Corporate with SP2 integrated.
Can anybody help me with this problem?
TIA
Melissa
