Can't attach network printer in Home wireless network

Hey guys I have one quick question about printer and file sharing through
wireless broadband. I am attempting to attach my main printer to my laptop
on the wireless network. When I select the printer \\MyNetwork\Epson
stylus Photo 785EPX, I get the following message: "The server for the
'Epson Stylus Photo 785EPX' printer does not have the correct printer driver
installed." It gives me the option to search for the proper driver or cancel
the connect to printer process.

My question is this, should the printer driver in question be found on the
machine where the printer is actually installed, or do I need to download a
driver for this network printer from the manufacture? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance....Tom Johnson

Not all printers can be networked, allthough you can share a printer.
Your printer cd, if it can be networked, will have a specific network
installation setup

If the printer is attached to another computer in the network, you may to install the drivers for
that printer on both machines.

Thanks Richard. The printer in question is physically attached to my
desktop, I guess I'll have to dig up that printer CD. I hope that I can get
this USB connected printer to work across my home network. Thanks again Tom.

Thanks DL, I have already set the checked the share flag for this device, so
I guess I'll have to dig that old CD out & try it. I'm going to keep my
fingers crossed. Thanks . . .Tom J

The only printers I can not get to work across a home network is the new HP All-in-one. I will not
allow access over the network to a Windows 98 machine. HP informs me that this is true for these
newer machines. They have no intention of supporting them for Win98 machines except by direct
physical connection. Even then the 98 machine had to be upgraded to 128 megs of RAM minimum or the
drivers would not load. This small fact was buried deep in an HP white paper.
