printer only prints links not message

my printer only prints colored links but not black ink messages. Both ink
levels are full. (Lexmark 1150) Wont print document. Only links.
connections-checked, levels-checked, settings-checked, Whats next???? thanks

First thing to try is actually replacing the black cartridge with a brand
new genuine Lexmark one.
