Black Ink Only

My hpdeskjet 990 printer ran out of ink. I did not want to spend so much
money and I only bought black ink. It is still not printing and out of ink
warning is blinking. Anyway around it so to print only in black ink? Thanks
 
No, all cartridges MUST have some ink in them in order to print.
