printer installation error

Help! I am trying to install a printer driver to my computer and I keep
getting the error message: "Print data left in print queue. Cancel
printing or delete print data, then try again" But there are no
printing jobs there for my old printer.

Can anyone help?

You might try restarting the print spooler service first.
