Printer Driver

I just installed WindowsXP and my printer which is an
Epson Stylus Color 480 SXU would no longer work as the
driver to use it with XP was not on my disk. I got rid
of the old one and went to Epson and downloaded the
correct driver for that printer to use with Windows XP.
My printer still does not work. It keeps picking the
wrong port. I changed it to an USB port which I am sure
I have. It is small and square and not large and does
not screw in. I wonder what I need to do in order to get
my printer to respond. It does not do a thing. C. Wood

Uninstall it completely first using the instructions at
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article One.htm

Then reboot the PC and install the software before connecting the printer to
the USB port. It will tell you when to connect.
