I recently bought a new
laptop and trying to get the printer on my PC to work on
the wireless home
office system I established. I can do anything wireless
but get my printer
to work on the system. I have a Compaq X1030 with a
Centrino Chip, a Netgear
routerWGR614 attached to a Dell 8250 PC. XP Home OS.
Could someone out there
give me some help or direct me to a site where I can get
some help. Thanks
in advance.

Have you set up the printer as a "Shared" printer on the
dell computer.
Look for the name of the computer then the name you gave
the shared printer . Connect as a network printer with
the

\\computername\printername

hope this helps.

The computer name can be found by clicking Start/Run then
type in CMD and then click ok.
At the prompt type in

ipconfig /all

and hit the enter key

What is the printer attached to? If it is attached to the router, you
will probably need a driver to allow printing to that printer.
