Print spooler

We have an HP All in one 6210 printer. The printer was installed 2 years ago
and we have been using the print untill last week the printer is no longer
listed in Printer Fax portion of the control pannel.
I have taken the advise from the community news group uninstalled the
printer using the utility folder from the CD that came with the printer, and
reinstalled afte resbooting and turning off firewall and virus programs.
However when it comes to cnnecting the printer to the computer a message pops
up stating that some components not installed may be unable to use device. I
aso get a messsage tht the printer spooler and RPC is not in service. I have
checked the prnter and the RPC in service folder and both are listed
ansautomatic.

I have tried all of the suggestions. However for some reason the print
spooler keeps on turning off. It is marked to start automatically. I keep
getting the same error message.

Have you both checked for updated drivers at the HP website? The spooler
failing is usually to do with corrupted printer drivers.

Cari - totally deleted the driver for my ip5000. Canon tech support also
took me through their check list to delete something in the spooler file as
well. I then downloaded and installed the newest driver. The printer still
won't work unless the spooler is bypassed in the printer software.

We did so many steps - I don't recall if we did that one. I'll checi the
link you gave me and then run the exe file. Thanks.
