Print Driver Issue

Sherry

We have a W2K3 print server hosting all our printers. I have one
workstation that I keep getting the following error on:

Printer Driver is not installed on this computer. Some properties will not
be accessible unless you install the printer driver. Do you want to install
the printer driver now? Yes or No

The driver is installed when the user logs in and connects to the printer
BUT, to be sure I also said yes to the prompt and installed it that way but
I still get the error and the user can't print.

Any idea why I get this and how I fix it? It only happens on one
workstation. Others are not having the problem. The printer in question is
a HP Color Laserjet 8550.

Best thing to do is remove the existing printer driver (s) on the pc
Login as administrator and stop the spooler service then restart
Now go to Printers and File-Server Properties - delete all the drivers
present (they will reinstall again when used)

If there's still a problem also remove the registry entry for the printer(s)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows
NT x86\Drivers\Version-3]
Delete all entries below this---if you have any below Version-2 remove those
as well
