Previous Outlook emails & Addresses

Had windows 98, had it upgraded by a coworker to 2000.

Is there anyway to get my previous emails and addresses
back?

Outlook is working for me but none of my original files
and communications I have are to be found.

Any ideas on how to find them or restore them are
apprecaited. I have many receipts and things in my emails.

are you using outlook express? or the full outlook client?
if its the full client you need to search for *.pab
(address book) and *.pst (personal folder) then point
outlook to the files..

I was using standard outlook with 98 and now
have express with 2000.

I am trying the search now with what you
advised however.
