I think that in Windows (I'm not sure if exactly in 2000) there was as
option such that if you had open folders on log off / shutdown, they appear
open again on the next log in / boot
Does anyone know anything about this?

Create and set the Reg_Dword value
"PersistBrowsers"=1
located at
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Thank you very much, Dave
Do you know about an article or document that explains the possible values
that can be used in that key and their meaning? (I saw a lot of values in
that key, and that heightened my curiosity)
