How is the default logon user changed

G

Guest

When my system boots it always Logs on with the last User that I authroized
as a "Guest" on the machine. I tried other user types (USer and POower User)
to see if that alleviated the problem. It did not. Every time I retatrt the
machine I have to allow it to complete the cycle, then do a Shut Down to Log
Off the unwanted user and relog on with the machine's primary user name. I
also tried a re log to Administrator - then rebooted. The unwanted user came
up on the reboot. How can this be fixed??????

If you mean that you want it to load without a log on screen than go to
the ctrl panel, open "Users and Passwords."
In the users tab you will see the list of users..........If it's blacked
out put a check mark in the "users must enter........" box & highlight
the user you want to log on automatically, hit apply......Uncheck the
"users must enter....." box again, hit apply, the user to log ons name
will appear & put in the password...........Re-boot.....It will auto log
in without a log in box.............
