I downloaded Poiwer Point Viewer 2003 and installed it to my computer .
OS Windows XP Home.
When I click on the PPS attachment it does not open , but I get the
following message(This file does not have a program associated with it for
performing this action.Create an association in the Folder Options control
panel)
How does one do this function to get the program working ?
Thanks for anyone with some help on this.

An attachment in an e-mail? What e-mail client are you using? If Outlook
Express, I would suggest the following.

1: Get PPV 2007 instead of PPV 2003.

PowerPoint Viewer 2007:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...40-14E1-467D-8DCA-19D2A8FD7485&displaylang=en

2: Save the attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With | Choose
Program. Find and choose a program that works, (PPV), and then check the
box: Always use this program to open this kind of file. This should enable
you to open these attachments in the future.

3: Unable to open .PPS attachments directly from Outlook Express using
XP/SP2 or XP/SP3:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/ppsopen.htm
