PPS

I have XP Home and Outlook Express 6. For some reason I cannot open
Power Point Slide files. I do have Power Point Viewer 2003. I checked
in Control Panel. It is in Add Remove Programs and Folder Options
(which does show the PPS file extension).

So why do I get this message when I try to open a pps file: This file
does not have a file associated with it for performing this action.
Create an association in the Folder Option control panel.
?????

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a conflict with PPS and XP/SP2. See this link for a fix:

Alternatively, the 97 version will work with XP. Download it here:

Thanks Ron. I removed PPS 2003 and installed the '97 version. Works
fine now.
