Posts will be deleted

Hello,

I usually notice on discussion lists the guidlines given regarding
which posts will be deleted, etc. Are there any legalities involved
here as I need to deletions due to allotted disc space? But I haven't
got a good statement or just how it should be displayed. This is a
problem I didn't expect to face until after I added the discussion
list.

I think you're talking about 2 different things. What you want to do,
save disk space, has nothing to do with guidelines any particular NG may
have set up re appropriate postings. How many NG posts are displayed or
retained on your own pc is usually handled through the preferences
attached to the mail program you're using to read the NG.

Unless, of course, the OP is talking about the FP discussion list, in which
case he can do whatever he wants.
