Posts being Deleted>?

Gary Metastatic

Why would my posts disappear?
It appears that my posts are being deleted:

I notice my poste are being Scrutinized and in many cases deleted.
Why would they delete my posts?
Content, poor spelling...
Anyway, I think it is pretty low to delete posts or replies.

Maybe I am picking on the MVP's too much?

What news group are you posting them to? Are you posting them direct to the
Microsoft servers? What name have you been posting them under. I only see
one post from you.

There is only one person who appears to be intermittently blocked, and you
are not he.

Ouch Richard the Urban! No one is expecting you did the Honors Program in
English but....

LOL I basically can accept the lowest common denominator of understanding
if there are typos (I make plenty of those) or spelling errors, but for a
man of your depth and educational breath and sophistication, "You are not
he" is not the way those sentences are suppose to be crafted in your country
the U.S. Were you are trying to speak English?

It's "you are not him." If they didn't give it to you in grade school, one
parameter you can use is to reverse the sentence and see how it sounds i.e.
"Him are not you."

"Loves Labour's Lost" (v, 2, 552), the "Clowne" enters and says, "I Pompey
am." Berowne contradicts him: "You lie, you are not he." The clown repeats
that he is "Pompey surnam'd the great"; this is probably a play upon the
name of a 1595 drama by Kyd, "Pompey the Great, his faire Corneliaes
Tragedy."

Some feel that Francis Bacon or someone else wrote these lines not
Shakespeare for a number of reasons. Maybe it was Richard the Urban.

But we know what you mean Dude.

Mr Harris, how long have you been off your meds? It looks as if you are
in dire need of help.

what news server are you on?
Maybe I am picking on the MVP's too much?

If this was true I would have seen most my posts erased... I am really
giving vista a hard time.. lol

Dick--

What an astute original comedian you are. Can you use your superior
konwledge of Windoz and Win Mail to help me search for a nanomolecule of
anywhere you've gotten off your ass in this group to post anything
constructive?

And I'd be interested in your medical acumen as well. Lay it on me. I'd be
willing to bet you really excell in that arena. I have a dog who picks up
more med tips than in five minutes than you could cram into a lifetime.

Everybody ultimately connects with the Redmond server farm for these groups
whatever they use. And again the crossout I screen shot didn't come from any
stork.

microsoft has a history of unstable servers..
look at msn messenger.. that should be online all the time.. yet it had
numerous problems...

and once MS bought foldershare.com and started working on it, the problems
started.. lol

I think its more of a hickup than some conspiracy to stop someone from
posting

I'm willing to bet that at Redmond MSFT has very stable servers and lol some
of the best server personnel on the planet. But there are huge demands on
those servers and lots of dynamics in the administration of them---this is a
65,000 or so person company with worldwide markets and huge enterprise
clients. MSN has a huge demand and servers have a wide variety of problems
that need tending that have nothing to do with "instability" or the talent
of the people tending them.

Probably, there are at least 2 other posters here who get sensored on a
regular basis and I have been sensored before in other MS groups.
Welcome to the club of MS sensorees Gary! LOL

Guess again. The MSFT newsservers are notorious for their instability, and
as NNTP is not really in the forefront (Microsoft really likes web-based
interfaces), those servers get very little attention - mostly when one of
them crashes.

If this convenient 'explanation' is true then it is a poor comment on the
servers.
Maybe they should run them on Unix or Linux.

It may be my Paranoia kicking in...who knows.

Is there a way to determine if a post was "Deleted" or if it was just not
sent or sent improperly?

If I had my way any idiot who posts a binary attachment to a
non-binary group would see that post censored everytime.

Sure, pull the other one, it has bells on it. I've been censored and so
have many others. One day I see my message and the next day it's gone.
Your lame example is akin to the dog ate your homework.

The President of the US and the Congress led by Dr. Blll Frist who is a
thoracic surgeon from Vanderbilt and outgoing Senate Majority leader and
right wing Republicans in the House and Senate made sure in the fight
against embryonic stems that more metastatic diseases will flourish. Frist
pretended to be for embryonic stems but worked behind the scenes to insure
they wouldn't be government funded.
