unable to delete mail in outbox

i hv an entry in the outbox that cannot be deleted
each time i try, i get the folowing same mesage p i notice from the
discussion that quite a umber of people are facing the same problem
it would be great if someone can assist

worked perfect, why not give it a try.

This was VERY helpful and solved my problem. I had mail stuck in my Inbox as
well as my Sent Items folders. ThMicrosoft download found in Step Two solved
the problem. Thank You!!!

Thanks for this kind of feedback Steve, regulars here are aware of the
Hotfix that you quote, posting that it cleared the Inbox and the Sent
folders too will help anyone searching for an answer.

You will have noted the misleading title of the Hotfix:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista"
