Popup blocker isn't working

I have a user who has changed his settings under Tools, Pop-up Blocker to
not allow Pop-ups, but he still gets them.

He has run Ad-Aware and nothing has been found. We run Sophos Antivirus.

What else should he change?

Try the following and see if it helps. Even if you have already run some
programs, run them again according to the instructions in the information
below to thoroughly clean you system.

Or: download and install the google toolbar, en choose, block pop-ups under
tools. It works!

To recommend an alternative tool is fine, but, to be really helpful, you
should also advise the poster under the circumstanes to make sure their
system is free of any scumware first. Adding 3rd party program at this
point may only compound the problem.
