Pop3

I am trying to set up microsoft outlook, I am running windows XP. My
email is with the old freeseve now orange. In the mail account page on
outlook, I set the pop3 as pop3.orange.co.uk and the smtp to
smtp.orange.co.uk. Then I click on the test button. Outlook sends a
test mail to my orange account, but fails on incoming. I don't know
what I have done wrong any ideas ?

Do you have the ports set correctly?

in pop3.orange.co.uk, change the pop3 to mail and see if the fixes the
problem.
