POP3 outgoing message error

Using pop3 I am getting an outgoing message error. I am
able to receive messages fine but am not able to send
them. How do I fix this?

Me too! I get error message "...Connection to the server
has failed..." even though it can receive OK. The answer
is in the socket or registry settings, I think. I don't
know enough about that to fix it. I believe a virus (or
removal) may be causing this.
I can get and send email from other machines using the
same account information.

I'm having this problem too. I've scanned my system for
viruses but found none. Are you using a US Robotics 8054?

Well, pop3 is for receiving mail, smtp is for sending. Are you sure you
get a pop3 _outgoing_ error?

What does the error message says?

Which operating system and outlookversion are you using?
