pop ups through explorer

Just recently Internet explorer has been having so many
pop ups that I can't seem to get rid of them and it
freezes my computer and I have to un plug it does any
body know what this is? Please help. Thank you Delores

You need to get yourself either a hardware or software firewall solution.
