ok im trying to burn some cds and when i put the disc in it doesnt detect it
, it wont detect any types of discs im not very good with computers so i dont
know what to do about it , i cant burn or play any type of disc on my
computer its called "dvd-rw Drive (E:)" and thats where i burn my cds can
anyone help me out and tell me how to fix it so it can detect them and so
itll be back to normal

(If you have Windows 2000 or XP) If the E drive can still be seen in 'My
Computer' and you are using the same discs that worked before then it sounds
like your DVD-RW Driver is shot and you will probably need to replace it.
They don't last for ever and it is quite common for them to burn out and
stop working.

However - I might be wrong and someone else might have some suggestions to
try first but a replacement is needed I think. They are easy to replace and
cheap enough to buy.

Good luck,
Lenny

And the name of the CD never changes when you put in a new one, then:

Start | run | REGEDIT <enter> Goto
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom

Double click on AutoRun and make sure it's set to 1

REBOOT
