Please Help! RDP Issue

I have a unique situation with 1 workstation on our network(all are Windows
XP SP2). We have a VPN setup and i am able to ping and do name resolution to
all my workstations across the VPN. I am able to RDP to all workstations
except one. I used to be able to access this workstation until recently. The
weird thing
is if i RDP to my 2003 server first and then use the RDP client on the server
i can access this workstation(WS1). Also, if i use the RDP client on a
workstation physically attached to the network i can access WS1. But when i
try to RDP to the workstation over the VPN it says the client could not
connect to the remote computer. I have tried by IP and name with no luck.

Is there a way to block traffic from the Internet or from other networks in
XP?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Can you ping the computer by IP? if yes, can you telnet port 3389?
