RDP Crashing

I upgraded the RDP client on my workstation (XP Pro) and can no longer
connect my W2k Client. XP clients still connect. correctly and the W2K
client can still connect to my 2003 servers and other XP Pro machines
in the same environment.

basically the client connects then crashes with a memory allocation
error

Any Ideas anyone?

Uninstall the updated client and either use the old client or reinstall the
new one.

I have an issue similar to this. I sometimes cannot RDP into my Windows XP
at the office (it's actually Windows XP Tablet Edition) because the session
crashes before it completes.

I find that if on the office PC I terminate certain programs which use large
memory like Outlook before I leave for the day, the problem does not appear.
I leave the session locked but active (i.e. not logged out).

I also found that I can get in if I need to by logging in as an
administrator (which kills the active session), logout, and login as myself.

If you are not connecting to an active session, then your problem is
different from mine.
