I have a Win XP Pro (join in a domain) configured with a Cisco VPN Client.
XP Pro will be used by Remote Desktop connection.
This is step that reproduce problem:

- open a Rdp session on XP machine
- logon with a User or Power User
- open a connection through Cisco VPN client
- rdp session will be disconnected, i see square icon that blink...
- i cannot reconnect my rdp session because Cisco client avoid LAN
connection to XP machine

Problem does not occur if i logon to XP machine with Administrator
privilege.

Any ideas?

Regards.

Problem happens also with an administrative user...
I suspect a timeout or similar on Cisco client.
Anyway can i via GPO avoid disconnecting rdp session ?

This is by design for the security reason. Basically, after establishing the VPN, the routing table changes and it blocks other traffic to the VPN client. You may try to disable use default gateway on remote network.

Make sure you enable "Allow local LAN access" on the Cisco VPN client.

Already done, i suspect it was a server-side setting that override my
VPN client config.
