Please help me find microsoft works

I ereased a bunch of files which must have had microsoft
works on it. Does any one know how I can get it back. I
really need it. I have windows xp pro. Thanks.

Find a local telephone book. Look for WalMart.
Get in car and drive to WalMart...find the
computer/electronics department. Look on the shelf with
software.

If Works was included as part of the software with your PC, there should be
an installation disk.

Try System Restore at a date prior to your deletion of files...

If it is part of OEM package like mine there is no
installation disk. Works would probably not be included
in retail version unless the store/vendor supplied it.

1. Look in your recycle Bin. If you did not empty nit the deleted files
will still be there and can be restored.
2. Look for your OEM rescue disk. It may be there.
3. On my laptop, there is a folder called "WORKSSETUP" that has the files to
re-install works.
4. See if you have a restore point prior to when you deleted the files.

Note that MS Works is not part of XP Pro. If it was pre-installed on your
PC it came from the PC manufacturer, not Windows XP.

Hope this helps. If not, you may have to buy another copy.
