Please help.....Admin and Logon Passwords

Computer was working fine and had no admin or logon passwords. I ran a
registry fix to clean hoping to improve the running of the computer. Prior to
running the program I did a system restore point. When the system rebooted
the opening screen comes up requiring a logon for myself. When I load in
safe mode where it shows the admin account also, it is showing it needs a
password also. Could the registry fix have caused this to happen? Also how
do I get back into the system so I can do a system restore back to the 18th
and hopefully fix all this.
