Pioneer dvd-rw dvr 105

After reinstalling windows xp pro with sp2.
My cd-dvd burner will not format DVD media.It will write to a formaly formated
rw disk.
It will format cd-r disks and will write to them and read them.
It will also play movies.
i would greatly appreciate help with this.

Hi,

You will have to install the 3ed party DVD Burner software that either
came with the drive or the computer.
