Hi everyone,
I was wondering if someone could help me for this problem:
_ Adsl connection with static ip address
- Operating System Win Xp pro
- When I ping the private lan it gives: error 65
- Uninstalled Zone Alarm an Checked that ICS was disabled like says the
microsoft website's technical support, it continues, error 65;
- I've checked the network card in another pc and it's ok.
- When I enter in F8 when I start the pc, it works!!

Could someone tell me how can It works in a normal start?

Thank you very much

Alex

ZoneAlarm sometimes leaves bits of itself behind when un-installed.
Go to Start | Run | Msconfig, click the Startup tab, and disable any
ZA remnants. Reboot and try pinging again.

If that doesn't fix it, re-install ZA, un-install it using the
un-install procedure provided by ZA (not Control Panel | Add or Remove
Programs), reboot, and try again.
