Pictures Will Not Upload To AOL Today...

K

Kar

Hi. I cannot upload pictures from my Windows XP to attach
them to my AOL 9.0 SE email. Yesterday it worked
correctly, I highlighted a picture/pictures in the Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer, clicked on send to mail recipient,
the resize block opened, I clicked on make pictures
smaller, the block opens where the file appears to be
transfering to the email, and normally an aol email would
open with the file attached. This last step does not
happen. After the block appears where it lookis like the
file is transfering, nothing else happens. I have AOL set
as the default email program, and it worked correctly
yesterday. I can't do a system restore, I have no restore
points on this computer. Any help would be greatly
appreciated, thanks.

Thanks Del, I can do that to attach pics to my aol email,
but I wondering why my Windows Picture and Fax Viewer
doesn't do the same thing, as it did yesterday... but not
today? Thanks for your input, Kar.

Kar,
Work it the other way.
From the AOL message editor, click on "Attach a file" and
goto the file(s) you want to attach and click on the.

my guess/answer---I'm not an expert, you might need to check your settings in the control panel again; then if that doesn't work; you should have a CD that came with your computer to restore it to it's original settings. If you don't have CD; find someone who knows programming to help you manually restore by code. It's just a guess. bye.

Kar,
To send pictures using AOL it is best to use the attach file button in
the write email window or insert the image directly in the email body. The
send to email recipent functions in windows does not work well with AOL.
