PICTURES ON INCOMING MAIL NOT BEING RECEIVED

No need to post the same question more than once.
In Windows Mail, go to Tools, Options, Security, uncheck "Do not allow
attachments...", and uncheck "Block images..."

Just click the Tools option on the main toolbar of Windows Mail then , from
the drop down menu, click Options. Now click the Security tab. On the
security tab you will see a section marked 'Download Images' remove the
'tick' mark from the box to the left of the option 'Block images and other
external content in HTML e-mail' then Click OK. Your pictures should then
appear in your email.

emails coming through from companies with pictures/ads are not appearing.
They just have the little box with the red x in it.

Another way you can do this is to leave your basic settings as they are,
then, when the e-mail is open, click on View, then View Message in HTML ...
after that, you might see a thin, yellow box that you can click on to allow
the ads and/or pictures to come through for just that particular e-mail ...
