PibotTable(OLE server)

I'm using MS Access 2003 and doing homework about Pivottable.
When I select Query that I would like to create Pivottable.
There is a message shows" The connection with the OLE server was lost, or
the OLE server encountered an error while you were using it. Restart the OLE
server, and then try the operation again."

I don't know what the OLE server is and how to restart?

If you knows, please help
Thanks

Not sure exactly what happened, but your query likely included an "OLE

Remove that column from your query. You're not trying to pivot on an
OLE Object column, are you?

There is no OLE object in my query.
Do you know how to restart OLE server?
Thanks

Check your background services. I had the same issue and was searching
the Internet for quite a while and didn't find much. But I checked all
my background services and enabled a lot of them that I thought could
affect office and I got it working again.
Go to Control Panel\ Administrative tasks\Services

and what I did was, check the services that were not running but had
the startup type set to manual, and set them to automatic so when I
reboot they keep running. and started right-clicking on them and
selecting start, I also restarted all of the services by right-
clicking on the services that were already started and selected
restart.
I don't have time to narrow down to which service exactly was
affecting my status, but try that, it works.
