While online I occasionally have the following blue screen
message appear: "Wait operation. Attach process yield
was attempted from a DPL routine. Beginning physical dump
of memory." I immediately rebbot the computer, it goes
through its disc checking routine and sometimes it
corrects a problem, sometimes not. The message doesn't
come up all the time, doesn't seem to be tied to a
particular site and it also can occur during use of
Outlook Express. What does it mean? What is a DPL
routine? Could it be an incompletely erased virus,
trojan , or tracker? I subscribed to McAfee virus scan
about two months ago. I downloaded Spybot Search and
Destroy about two weeks ago. I can't remember if this
occured prior to downloading spybot or not, but it started
around then. Answer can be posted here or sent to:
fury-tx(removethis)@texas.net Thanks for any help!

Sounds like an interrupt routine has problems. Most likely a driver issue. How to check, I really don't know except check the DrWatson log.

Not much help but could use more info.
