Photo files/desktop

Everytime I add photos to "My Pictures" they also show up
in the menu of desktop options. How do I delete this
phenomenal list from desktop otptions? Anyone Know? Thanks
 
By default, all files in My Pictures are listed as available for your
desktop. The only way to prevent this is to make a separate folder on your
drive and then move the files from My Pictures into this new folder.
