Phone dialer

Hello,

I have a windows 2000 professional system with inbuilt
sound card, headphone and external d-link modem. I tried
to use phone dialer. But we are able to hear only one side
sound. Other side person is not able to hear. So many
people told me that, phone dialer will work. But somehow I
couldn't finish. Could someone tell how phone dialer works
and what are requirements for dialing and hear the sound.

Advance thanks

George

Is the microphone plugged into a phone jack on the modem? I get the
impression that perhap you are trying to use "Phone dialer" as a VoIP
system which will not work. The dialer is "only" a dialer, nothing more.
You may plug in a telephone and use the dialer to save and dial numbers,
then you speak and listen over a telephone or a Microphone and speaker
connected to the modem.
