Anyone using PhoenixMail?

I'm using PhoenixMail 0.93 Beta 8.

I want to set the default download to
'download without deleting from server'. I set this in
'account properties'.

However when I go to 'fetch mail' the default icon is always
'keep on server' and has to be changed manually.

How can I get the default icon to be 'download without deleting
from server'?

TIA

Is the mail being downloaded to your inbox or not?

As a BETA tester, which you are .......... why ask a freeware group?
Surely you are better addressing your concerns to the PhoenixMail
developers.

Just downloaded & installed Alpha version 10 to have a look for
myself .

When you select an Option , you must click on OK .

'download without deleting from server'? > worked OK for me .

Is the mail being downloaded to your inbox or not?

Hi Jan - no download unless I change the icon in the 'download'
list after selecting 'fetch mail'.

This is what I've been doing:

Click account > properties > filter
In 'default download type' window I select 'download without
deleting from server' Then I click 'OK' The icon has a tower with
a small floppy disk superimposed on it.

Send self message.

Click on 'fetch mail'

At this stage I've got it to show a list of mail on the server.
In the left hand column the icon is just the tower - meaning
'keep on server'. If I click 'OK' then no mail is downloaded. To
download the mail I have to manually change the icon to a tower
with a small floppy disk and then click 'OK'

Hope this makes sense - could be a bug?

In general I quite like to program - simple interface and does
all I need.
