pcs saving as bitmaps

Recently all pics I download with IE 6 are trying to save
as untitled bitmap files. Previously this only happened
if the pic hadn't downloaded properly.

I have not installed any new software or changed any
settings.

I can't see any settings in IE that could influence this.

Any ideas?

That happens when the Temporary Internet Files are too full. In IE click
Tools | Internet Options. Click Delete Files in the Temporary Internet
files section of the General tab. On the nest window place a check mark in
the box to Delete all offline content.

Ron,

Load up Internet Explorer and click on TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/DELETE FILES then on CLEAR HISTORY then close IE and open it again and see if that helps.
