PC Stops Booting with Tone sound

Hey all, my pc was working perfectly yesterday night but today when I got
home from work every time I turn it on it just makes a beeping sound. One
long tone every 2 seconds until I turn it off again.

I tried removing a stick of RAM, then the other. I tried booting a
different hard drive. I cleaned my fans and basically took the whole thing
apart and put it back together. But alas, it still doesnt boot.

Has anyone got any ideas what the problem is pleeeeeeeease?

Thanks a lot.
Alex

These sounds are actually an error code stating that something has failed.
You need to check with the Gigabyte manual, or web site, for the meaning of
this code. If you can not find it from Gigabyte, you can try the chipset
maker (VIA???)
