PC games 4 xmas

I was wondering what r some good pc games for christmas.....
i was thinking about getting halo combat evolved , joint operations, combat flight simulator 3, COD expansion pack, farcry, i especially want to know how good joint operations is cus i havent heard much about it....and i would like to get it..if u think ne of these games are worth getting or anyother cool games i should get let me no.. peace

Now just pick any of those and your garantee'd happiness. I have played Joint Ops and wasnt impressed 1 little bit, its nothing compared to Americas Army Online which is a free online shooter with better gameplay, graphics and level design!

I know ive left out a few class games there, like Rome Total War and Ground Control 2, but what ya gonna do .

loved san andreas but i found it to short
(great game though, and classic moments!)

my top 5 would be...

1.uplink (£20 hacking sim)
2.half life 2 ( you get cs:scource )
3.far-cry ( hl inspired, good AI and lovely graphics )
4.ut2004 ( Great vehicals and guns, but make sure you have mates that play same server.)
5.morrowind (great rpg if your not into rpgs go for somthing ealse.)

Ealse: NFS:U2, ProEvo4, planetside.

9) Doom 3, if you can pick it up for less than thirty quid, although a little disappointing, it's still a good game.

for # 10, pick any sports game of your choice, I don't get off on sports games at all, especially Golf
