Pc Freezes, event 1001

The problem : if I leave my PC on and unatended for a
number of hours or overnight it freezes up solid. The
only way to get it going again is to diconnect the power
source wait a few then restart. Everthing is fine while
you are using it. The event log only reference to this is
The "Warning" the event source is NAVAP but no
discription is available. What does NAVAP refer to and
hows does this relate to my problem. I've have restored
system to an earlier date before this started but did n't
cure the problem. Any help on this? Thanks, DI

Do you have Norton AntiVirus? NAVAP is possibly Norton AntiVirus Auto
Protect. Ask Symantec technical support for help.
