Hey guys, was just wondering what would be the best thing to do if i wanted a Good computer, Either just buy it from

http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/

Or actually build one from scratch, purchasing all the parts seperately.
This site seems pretty fair and i see that many computer 'wiz's' are actually buying from there so was wondering what is cheaper?

Thanks.

I would build your own. From what I have heard CyberPowerSystems have gone down hill at bet.

Check out this thread.

Okay, thanks alot.
Its been bugging me for ages but what do you think would be best for me to do, Get a laptop or a PC.

I will be using it to play some games like WoW and the odd shooter and then also for testing some stuff out like sony vegas, video editing etc.

I have a computer at the minute but its like 3 years old and it seems to struggle with most things and really i would just like something different other than pc.

Will you be using it for games current games like COD 4/5 and Crysis/ Race Driver Grid ect? If so then I would recommend a desktop pc.

Yeah but it just seems so cool to have the freedom of putting your laptop in your case, walking to your mates and gaming with him..

I don't know why i want a laptop as i know that computers are more powerful.

For practicality, yes a laptop is a lot easier and you do get good gaming laptops. Check out the link If you are after coolness credit, buy an Acer, spray it white or silver and stick an A**le logo on it...
Besiides you mate will be more impressed with a big f*ck off rig in the corner of your room. But seriously, its not about impressing them, more anbout your needs. And impressing people should be the last thing on your list....

Before building a pc it is always wise to read up on how to and then read up on the latest stuff you can afford. Your going to play with the pc for some time so it makes sense to build one you will be happy with.

Corsair make some of the best memory sticks around and some very decent psu's here are two different guides they have produced for folk wanting instruction in building a pc.

Here is a different guide
