PayPal Problems with Vista

I cannot access the PayPal website with Vista.
I have tried with both IE7 and FireFox 3.01. I get connection errors
and server timed out errors.
I have tried deleting cookies and cleared my cache on both programs
but still no luck.

I have an XP machine that works fine with both of the above programs.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Frustrations with computer experiences can sometimes lead users to blame the
OS. The Vista Operating System is not causing your problems with the
inability to connect to your Paypal acount. I use Paypal with XP and Vista
OS's with no difficulties. Contact Paypal and see if they can assist you in
resolving this issue.

check your system for Malware. blocking of specific sites sounds like you
could have been infected.

use notepad to look at your host file
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and see if there are some strange
redirect entries there.

should only be "local host = 127.0.0.1" unless you've added some yourself.
