Cannot enter some website that require age or verfication input

I have a growing problem with my Vista Ultimate machine. Certain website
that require you to enter your age for entrance, or website that require you
to enter the characters to subscribe will not access the input. This is with
IE7 and I have all the latest updates. Someone suggest I tried using
Firefox, or Netscape and I downloaded both. And the problem persists.

Two website I am not able to access www.halo3.com/believe in which it will
accept my birthdate and says that I do not meet the minimum age requirements
but I can successfully enter the www.halo3.com site when prompted to enter
my birthdate. This same problem exist with Firefox and Netscape.

I have reinstalled my flash 9 plugin, shockwave plugin, and sun java. The
problem persists. I have a laptop running Windows XP and able to access the
sites successfully.

Now I cannot register on websites that require you to enter the characters
from the graphic display to verify your registration. And also the problem
persists with Firefox, and Netscape. Most recent website that I cannot get
past the enter verfication is forums.steampowered.com/forums/ where it will
not accept the characters in the graphic display for verification.

The first impression is that there is something with Vista that is causing
this problem. I tried everything including deleting IE7 cache, restoring
defaults, changing IE7 properties, uninstalling unnecessary programs,
enabling more Windows features, running sfc, spyware/virus scans. I can't
think of any else to check?

If anyone has any ideas or fixed this similiar problem, would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanx,

AN

One thought on the Halo site - I get a different format for entering the
date on one, than on the other.

It's MM-DD-YYYY for one and DD-MM-YYYY, although I did enter United Kingdom
for my location, which you probably didn't. But anyhow, check you're
entering the correct format for the date.

That was it, for some reason it switched the date formats, as my XP system
is both mmddyyyy. I tore up my machine trying to figure this one out. Did
ddmmyyyy on my Vista machine and it worked.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Good Luck and thank you again.
