passing on old pc

I'm going to pass on my old PC to my grandson, purely for him to play his
games on (well, he's only 4).

Can I merely 1) set up a new full user for him; 2) log into that user, and
3) delete the current users ?

With only one user, will there still be a log-in screen? If so, how do I
stop it appearing?

TIA

Yes you can create an account for Him and also you can top the log-in by
doing the following:
Click start >> Control panel >> User Accounts.
You can create the account for Him there then click on Change the way users
log on or off.
There under select logon and logoff options:
Uncheck these boxes
[ ] Use the welcome screen

[ ] Use fast user switching or you can leave it checked.
HTH.
