Page Numbering

I have a document that has numerous pages and I would like to number the
pages in the format of Page 1 of 65. However, when I insert the template
that is supposed to do that in Word 2007, it prints out as Page 1 of 1, Page
2 of 2. I have tried using Ctrl F9 and inserting Page and Numpages as
indicated in numerous posts on page numbering, but it is not working. I
desperately need help with this feature.

Wow, I didn't know that bug survived into Word 2007. It's a real oldie.

See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/PageXofY.htm for some
workarounds.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for the information...LOL...yep...good old Microsoft bugs are the
gift that just keeps on giving! I resolved the problem by modifiying one of
the fixes you provided to work with Word 2007.

I clicked the Office Button, then Word Options. Under the Advanced tab, I
then selected the Print heading and selected "Print pages in reverse order."
There was a minor glitch when I first printed, but I just reprinted and it
worked fine.

Also found something @ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822005/en-us but
will have to wait for our administrator to apply the fix.

I just wanted to let the Discussion Group team know that I greatly value
that you take the time to be here to help us out when we run across these
little 'presents' from Microsoft! Thanks again and have a great day! :) :)
