If I want to move the page file to another partition what do I do. I
know where to do it but all the %, and root, etc. have me as frightened
as a third grade boy on his first trip to the principal. You got a link
that would explain it? I messed this up once and do not wish to do it
again. Thanks.

Control Panel|System|Advanced|Performance|Settings|Advanced|Change to
adjust/ move the pagefile.

Yes Dave, thanks for the response. I am confused with what to call the
file etc. It is a bit more complicated than 98 to do this. It is my
system and I have the admin account. thanks

The file name is pagefile.sys though you don't need to know this. After you
move it using the Control Panel applet, restart for effect, it will have
been moved.

You're logged on as admin? Not a great idea. Create an account for daily use
and set admin privileges on that one. Only use THE admin account when you
need to do system-level stuff.

I am having the same problem with my virtual memory/pagefile. I am trying to transfer my 2K OS to a larger hardrive for upgrade purposes. I tried the option to be able to move my pagefile to another drive by going to Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance Options/Change but i see no option to change to adjust/move the pagefile. Any ideas...
