OWA Domain

We only have one domain, is it possible to configure OWA so we don't have to
put the domain in. This is kind of a hassle. so instead of domain\user.name
it would be just user.name

Yes you can. What version of Exchange are you running?

exch 2003, I tried to go under servers>protocols>http>exchange virtual
server>exchange go to the properties of the exchange folder>access
tab>authentication but everything is greyyed out? I cannot change anything.
Is this the wrong place?

Yes. Try IIS manager.
