Cannot open attachment in OWA (Exchange 2003)

Sorry if I posted this in a wrong group.

The attachment in an email can be opened under MS Outlook. But with OWA,
some user cannot open Word or Excel attachment, no problem with pdf document.
Some user do not have same problem, although they are accessing the same
Exchange server 2003 by OWA.

I tried this under company's network and found out that when I logged in
domain with user1, I cannot open word or Excel attachment under OWA. But, If
I logged in with user2, the problem didn't exist, even that I was accessing a
same mailbox.

So, I suspect that is due to different security settings of different users
or different computers. But I just don't know what's the trick and how to
solve problem for user1.

Not a problem. It is the wrong group. microsoft.public.exchange.clients is
the place for OWA support, since OWA is part of Exchange, not Outlook.
However, that sounds more like a browser issue. What happens if you go to
someones machine that works and log into the other persons mailbox? If it
works, then microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general would probably be a
better bet.
