outlook2003 slow downloading multiple email accts at same time

When I click "send/receive" and download my 6 email accts, the download is
very slow. Outlook 2003 downloads 3 at a time but even taking that into
account, it's very slow. When I click "receive" only and download just one
acct at a time, the download just flies but it's a pain to keep clicking to
download each acct individually. What's going on? Been this way since
converting from Office 2000 to 2003. Thanks. Ralph

What type of accounts are these? POP3?
Are these accounts hosted on the same POP3 server?
